The year 2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which secured women in the U.S. the right to vote. On this occasion, it is important to remember that the Humane Party has addressed the gap between the proposed Equal Rights Amendment in 1923 and current social issues, by drafting a new Constitutional amendment that would be fully inclusive of gender-, sexuality-, and marriage-related rights.
