Humane National Committee: Class A Finalized

Upon expiration of the public-comment period and a final review, the Humane Party Board of Directors has ratified the full design of Class A for the Humane National Committee (HNC) as published on October 19, 2018. Class A of the HNC represents a significant advance over the traditional model of geography-based representation.

The One, the Few, the Many, and the All

At this special moment in history, we are witnessing a revolution in philosophy and political science: the zoocracy system of government extends the political franchise beyond the species barrier to include all forms of sentient life. April 8, 2018: Veggie Pride Parade NYC | Event Schedule Available

The schedule for the 11th Annual Veggie Pride Parade in New York, NY, has been released. The event features over 20 speakers representing a wide array of perspectives on veganism, animal liberation, free speech, and more. Participants can also network with over 30 exhibitors who will be present. An after-party buffet and all-vegan comedy show follows the event.

Zoocracy: Placing Permanent Political Power—Yes, the Vote—in the Paws, Claws, and Jaws of Other Species

Zoocracy is a representative form of government in which members of all sentient species—not just homo sapiens—hold permanent political power of equal dignity. Zoocracy is akin to democracy, in that decisions are made by vote of an enfranchised population. But democracy pertains to an enfranchised population that is limited to humans, whereas zoocracy extends the franchise to all species.
