When people think about vegan activism, they may picture protests, petitions, sanctuaries, political campaigns, or changes made around the dinner table. But there is another powerful way to help build a more humane world: putting our time and talents to work for organizations that share our values.
That is the idea behind VeganJobs.com.
Founded by Ben Braman, VeganJobs.com was created to connect vegan job seekers and professionals with businesses and organizations committed to animal rights, environmental responsibility, and a plant-powered future. The site has grown into a global hub featuring paid positions, freelance work, internships, and volunteer opportunities across many different fields and experience levels.
And now, you can find the Humane Party there too.
The Humane Party has begun posting several new volunteer opportunities on VeganJobs.com as part of our continuing effort to rebuild, expand, and create more ways for people to participate.
Our first listings include opportunities for State Developers, Writers, a World News Wednesday writer, a News & Trends Scout, and a Political Cartoonist. Additional roles will be added as our teams and projects continue to grow.
Not every volunteer has the same skills, schedule, or preferred way of contributing. Some people organize. Some research. Some write, create art, follow developing stories, connect people, or help establish a presence in their state. Each of those contributions can strengthen the movement.
Of course, VeganJobs.com is simply one more way to find us. The Humane Party’s traditional volunteer form remains open, and prospective volunteers are always welcome to introduce themselves, tell us about their interests, and help us discover where their talents may fit.
