On January 1st, 2017, the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Humane Party rotates from Robin Miller to Clifton Roberts.
With her business background and her academic training in Animal Advocacy, Robin Miller has brought extensive knowledge and experience to the Humane Party, which she served as CEO from April 9 to December 31, 2016. Under her expert leadership, the party has grown substantially, generating a tenfold increase in active volunteers over 2015.
Clifton Roberts, currently Ethics & Legal Compliance Program Manager at the world’s largest manufacturer of PC microprocessors, previously served as the Humane Party’s CEO in 2015 and became the party’s first ever presidential candidate in the 2016 elections. According to schedule, his term as CEO will cover the months of January through March 2017.
The position of Chief Executive Officer of the Humane Party rotates among a group of volunteers according to a quarterly schedule. Practical realities sometimes prevent the Humane Party from adhering perfectly to this rotation schedule. For instance, a given CEO may shorten or lengthen his or her shift on a particular occasion, as was the case with Robin Miller, who served for nine months in 2016 to ensure continuity during Clifton Roberts’ run for President. For more information on this topic, see the relevant FAQ page on the party’s website.
The Humane Party takes this opportunity to express its deepest appreciation to Robin Miller for her extraordinary service as CEO and to extend a warm welcome to Clifton Roberts, whose experience as a presidential candidate will greatly contribute to the party’s ongoing development.
